I was a very adventurous child and always used Tom Sawyer as my excuse for getting into mischief. How could they fault a kid with good taste in literature?
I've always loved sales. My first triumph was at six years old out-selling everyone in my very shy big Sister's Camp Fire Girls Troup.
My infamous sales tactic? Standing in the middle of the street and refusing to let traffic pass until they bought a box of mints! What can I say? With an IBM Salesman for a dad and a Xerox Executive for a mom, it's in the blood!
My biggest acheivement as a teenager was surviving and thriving as a foreign exchange student in Norway. It profoundly changed my life and I have had a MAJOR travel bug ever since!
I earned my teaching credential in 1985 from Humboldt State University in California and after a brief stint as a Jr. High School Math and Science teacher I quit to stay home and raise my son, Caleb. It was at that time I was introduced to network marketing by my sister Lisa.
I loved it and still do, another child (Olivia) and 20 years later! I have been very grateful to have a thriving career while being a stay-at-home mom...and the travel has been astounding! I've experienced so much of the world, tax deductible, because of my business!
In 2001 my husband Patrick and I launched WTPowers out of our own frustration in trying to find good online marketing tools. We saw a genuine need for a comprehensive automated support system for network marketers. No one provided everything under one umbrella so we decided to build it ourselves.
Designing, building , owning and operating our own Internet business has been the most rewarding venture of our lives! Certainly never a dull moment! We're constantly learning and growing and evolving...and isn't that what life should be all about?
We love our home and environment in our quiet, lush little corner of the planet, behind the Redwood Curtain of the great Northern California Coast. We're so grateful for the Internet giving us the opportunity to grow an international business from the comfort of our home!
Most recently I have become a Master Results Coach, taking me back (sort of) to my teaching roots. I am passionate about my work with my clients! They help me grow so much!
